Tonight, I came out to my great aunt and I explained what age regression and little space are. She just told me it’s a way to get grounded! How can I get her to accept that I don’t want to get into trouble and not using it as an excuse?
Are you sure she meant grounded in a bad way? The definition of grounded is “well balanced and sensible”. Maybe she was acknowledging the fact that regression is a way for you to cope and deal with life the best way you know how.
Hopefully you are able to continue the conversation now that you have told her and find out for sure what she meant if you aren’t 100% sure already. I obviously don’t have any personal knowledge of either of you so my theory could be way off, and I apologize if I overstepped.
