I don't personally know of anyone of any identity-type in the community who prefers to have a long distance relationship over something they can have in person. I think in the dating world, in general, it's rare to see someone want an online-only or strictly long-distance relationship.

I've gone through a few posts when I was searching for a little and found that the only people who seemed to prefer LDR were already attached to someone in real life or were only looking for casual play instead of an actual relationship.

I think your preference of having a partner within driving distance is very normal and typical. I wouldn't worry about this if I were you.

Be patient. :hugs:
