I had a daddy who randomly abandoned me a few weeks ago and I can't get over him. He was so good to me and it hurts that he left. I keep looking for a new daddy but I keep comparing them to my old one. It hurts me that I do this and still cling onto hope that he'll come back.

I really need help on what to do cos I'm lost

It's hard and a lot of work, but you need to get to a spot in your life where you feel like you don't NEED a Daddy to care for you. Relying on a Daddy to always pick up the pieces causes a dependency on that person. If that person isn't dependable then you're going to end up hurt and with baggage like this case.

The best that I can tell you is that this takes time, personal growth (realizing that you can care for yourself just as well), and, within time, moving on to someone who you've gotten close enough with to know they are genuine.

You just may not be the the step of moving on yet. Give yourself time. Grow on a personal level. Focus on things aside from gaining a Caregiver and being tended to on this level. Enjoy yourself, just being you.
