Maybe you should just strategize calling him daddy and see how he responds to that. If he likes it or isn't uncomfortable then move to the next step. Ask him to tuck you in at night, ask him to tie your shoe, ask him to cut your pancakes for you... Create situations where he can see what you need and then see how he responds. If he doesn't play along then he probably doesn't like age play.
