I have children of a young age from when I was married. Am I right in being concerned about having my little around them. My previous little moved away, so I don't have one at the moment, but I'm concerned that once I have one I won't be able to balance it all. It's not like I can treat her like a little around my kids. Any pointers?? Thanks in advance!

So, I would treat it as any other relationship when it comes to introducing her to your kids.

My boyfriend who I have 2 kids with is also my little. Granted, they are our kids so it's not like introducing a new person into the children's life, but thought I'd weigh in anyway. When it comes to our kids, he is able to be a parent when needed but his little side provides a lot of fun and creativity to games as well as TV time. I am the main disciplinarian in the home though so when something needs very serious attention, I'm the one to provide that.

I would have an adult conversation with her about your expectations from her when she is around your children, if you want your relationship to go that far. I would make sure you both have a mutual understanding about everything before introducing her. I also do not talk to my little as 'my little' while around the kids as I don't want them to view him as a peer. At the end of the day, he is still their father and an adult and they need to view him that way. Our relationship dynamic is none of my children's business and I keep it that way.

That being said, he does call me Momma in front of them but I do not call him my pet names openly. Typically, I only call him by his name or by "Dadada" which is also what our kids call us.
