Considering music is my profession I'm always finding new art to listen to. I personally can't stand most pop music however i do have a love for upbeat indie. It really just depends on what mood im trying to conjure. I listen to solo much metal, currently a lot of black metal (burzum darkthrone mayhem gorgoroth) death metal (death cannibal corpse morbid angel) doom/drone metal (sleep electric wizard black sabbath sunn O) but I also love thrash. Punk rock and hardcore like bad brains black flag and minor threat are fun as Well, but progressive rock is coincidentally another favorite of mine (king crimson genesis yes) shoegaze bands and slow core is also cool as Well. Most music I practice is classical though, pretty much all types from baroque (bach Handel) and romantic (Beethoven chopin Liszt) to all of the modern sub genres like flamenco guitar.
